Skoda India has been selling about 6,300 cars every month, while its sister-company, Volkswagen India, sells around 3,100. The Kylaq has quickly climbed to the top of the ladder, leaving the Kushaq and the Slavia behind. Here’s a list of the best selling Skoda cars in India over the past six months, including the latest data for July 2025.

Skoda Kylaq
The Kylaq has quickly made it to the top of the list of highest selling Skoda cars in India, with 25,849 units dispatched over the last six months, thanks to the high demand for cars in the segment and the value that it proposes to offer. The Kylaq undercuts most cars in its segment in terms of pricing.
Skoda Slavia
The Slavia has surpassed the Kushaq in the list of the highest selling Skoda cars in India. Sitting at the second spot, the Skoda Slavia comes with the same set of powertrains as seen on the Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Volkswagen Virtus. Popular Skoda Slavia rivals include Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
Skoda Kushaq
The Kushaq has now become Skoda India’s third most selling car, selling 1,083 less units than the Slavia over the same time period. The Kushaq comes with two engine options — 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI. Skoda Kushaq rivals include Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and of course, the Taigun.

Skoda Kodiaq
Skoda Kodiaq, the Czech carmaker’s flagship SUV in India, garnered 574 units of sales over the last six months, averaging under 100 units a month. The Kodiaq comes equipped with a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DSG. It comes in an AWD configuration and rivals cars such as Volkswagen Tiguan, Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Hyundai Tucson and the new Nissan X-Trail.

Skoda Superb
The Skoda Superb sales have hit the end of the road in India, and things will remain such until the new-gen model gets launched. As showcased at this year’s Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the next-gen Superb might also get the option of a TDI engine.
