2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift spotted with panoramic sunroof — Details inside
- 1Panoramic sunroof spotted in recent spy shots
- 2Likely to get revised front and rear profiles
- 3Likely to carry over same set of engine-gearbox options
Ever since the launch of the Kylaq, Skoda doesn’t seem to have a clear justification to buyers who have either chosen or look to choose the Kushaq over its smaller sibling, given how common both models are. However, that’s set to change with the upcoming 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift, which has been recently spotted with a panoramic sunroof. Read the story to know more about the 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift and its key updates.
2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift panoramic sunroof
Among the slew of changes that the 2025 Skoda Kushaq is set to offer, a new dual-pane panoramic sunroof is one of those additions. A new set of spy shots recently gave a sneak peek to the panoramic sunroof that’s set to be a part of the 2025 Kushaq facelift. The addition of the panoramic sunroof will strengthen its presence in the competitive compact SUV segment.

Upcoming Skoda Kushaq facelift design updates
The Skoda Kushaq facelift has been spotted on multiple occasions, with its front and rear profiles being covered with prominent camouflage. Needless to say, most of the changes will feature on the front and rear profiles of the upcoming Kushaq, in the form of new headlights, tail lights and reprofiled bumpers. The spy shot gives a sneak peek into the headlights, which look a lot more prominent and could fall in line with Skoda’s new design language.
Around the side, the test mule was spotted running on a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels that are likely to come with a diamond-cut finish on the production-spec model. Around the back, the Kushaq could feature revised LED tail lights, Skoda branding and rear bumper and skid plate.

Upcoming Skoda Kushaq facelift features
On the features front, while the Kushaq comes with a slew of features, it misses out on a few that are offered in the competition. Some of these features include a panoramic sunroof, advanced driving assistance systems, soft touch dashboard and surround view camera. While we do not expect Skoda to introduce a panoramic sunroof with the Kushaq facelift, features such as a new dashboard with soft touch materials, Level-2 ADAS and surround view camera could be expected.

Upcoming Skoda Kushaq facelift powertrain options
The Skoda Kushaq comes with two engine options — a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The Kushaq 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine option generates 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. This engine is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine delivers 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). We expect Skoda to continue with the same set of engine and transmission options with the Kushaq facelift.

Upcoming Skoda Kushaq facelift launch timeline
Given the appearance of the Kushaq facelift on test, we expect Skoda India to launch the Kushaq facelift around the festive season this year. Skoda launched the Kushaq back in 2021 and it desperately needs an update to stay afloat in the fiercely competitive compact SUV segment.
