My current favourite is the XUV400 EV (XEV9E). I feel it's one of the few EVs in India that brings something fresh without costing a fortune. The design really caught my eye it actually looks like a proper car, Not a toy or some futuristic concept. Plus, it offers good range and space, which makes it practical too. At this price point, I think it's doing a great job pushing EV adoption forward, especially for people who want to switch without spending 20+ lakhs.

The design and build quality of the Mahindra XUV400 are excellent, and its price is also attractive. My first impression while riding in the XUV400 was the comfortable seats and interior design

Its eco-friendliness and easy driving make it an outstanding option. The XUV400 EV's range, on the other hand, could be increased for longer travels. The large cabin and regenerative braking of the SUV are laudable, but the interior quality should be improved for a more premium feel.

The speaker suggests Mahindra should redesign the XUV 400 to resemble the Ioniq 5 hatchback, extending its platform to 4.2-4.5 meters and offering different battery options. This would cater to hatchback enthusiasts and fill a market gap, as opposed to focusing on a sub-4 meter electric vehicle.
