The Kia Syros price has been officially announced, with a range of petrol and diesel variants catering to different budgets and preferences. Bookings can be made against a minimum payment of ₹25,000 at Kia dealerships across India or through the company’s official website. The SUV is available in two engine options: the Smartstream G1.0 T-GDi turbo-petrol and the 1.5L CRDi VGT turbo-diesel. 

For petrol variants, prices start at ₹9 lakh (approx. ex-showroom) for the base HTK variant with a 6-speed manual transmission. The cheapest petrol automatic variant is priced at ₹12.80 lakh (approx. ex-showroom). The fully-loaded HTX+ top model is priced at ₹16 lakh (approx. ex-showroom). For reference, Kia Syros on-road price in Delhi ranges from ₹10.02-20.98 lakh.  

For diesel buyers, prices start at ₹11 lakh (approx. ex-showroom) for the HTK (O) manual variant. There is only one diesel automatic variant (HTX+), which is priced at ₹17 lakh (approx. ex-showroom). For both fuel variants, ADAS features are available at an additional cost of ₹80,000 over and above the cost of the top model.

Kia Syros safety features make it one of the most well-equipped sub-4-metre SUVs in its segment. Even the base HTK variant comes packed with essential safety features, including six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a rearview camera, and front and rear parking sensors. Additionally, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-climb assist, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages ensure a secure drive.

Higher variants offer all-4 disc brakes, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). The ADAS suite includes 16 autonomous driving aids, such as forward collision mitigation, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control, enhancing overall driver confidence and reducing accident risks.

While the Kia Syros NCAP Rating is yet to be officially confirmed, its robust safety package suggests a potential 5-star rating under Bharat NCAP. However, we will have to wait for the crash test results for a final verdict.
