Kia Motors has announced the launch of refreshed editions, the Kia Seltos and the Kia Sonet, in India today. These refreshed versions of the SUVs come with multiple new features like paddle shifters; also, many existing features on higher variants are now being offered on the lower variants.
Paddle Shifters - Kia Sonet & Kia Seltos
The most significant update is the introduction of Paddle Shifters in both the Seltos and Sonet. Apart from this, the iMT Gearbox is available in the Seltos. Another premium variant of the Seltos has been introduced – 1.4T-GDI Petrol GTX (O). In the case of refreshed Sonet, the most popular HTX trim is now available with Automatic options – HTX 7DCT (1.0T-GDI Petrol) and HTX 6AT (1.5 Diesel).
The prices for the refreshed Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet starts at Rs. 9,95,000 (ex-showroom) and Rs. 6,79,000 (ex-showroom) respectively.

The ‘Paddle Shifters’ helps the driver in quick gear shifting, allowing them to get a sportier and more responsive driving experience. Paddle shifters are now available in the GTX+ 1.5D 6AT and 1.4T-GDI 7DCT variants in the refreshed Seltos and in all automatic variants in refreshed Sonet.
The iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) Sonet was well-received among consumers and, the company has decided to add it to the Kia Seltos as well. The refreshed Seltos features the segment-first iMT and is available in the 1.5 Petrol HTK+ variant. The iMT variant of the refreshed Seltos boasts off a Sunroof; Beige and Black interiors, and a Fully Automatic Air Conditioner with silver garnish add to the modernity of its interiors and give it a luxurious look.

Refreshed Kia Seltos
The refreshed edition of the Kia Seltos SUV has been updated with 17 new features like first-in-segment Smart Pure Air Purifier with ‘Virus and Bacteria’ Protection, Remote Engine Start in Manual transmission, Wireless Phone projection to help the customers to project their phone screens on the car’s touchscreen, Over the Air (OTA) map updates, Additional Voice Commands on UVO connected car system including Sunroof Open & Close, Driver Window Control which adds to the overall convenience.
In terms of safety, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Assist Control (HAC) features have been added to the lower variants. Also, multiple new seat material and colour options are available.
REFRESHED KIA SONET:
Refreshed Kia Sonet
The refreshed edition of Sonet has been updated with 10 new features like the first-in-segment Rear Door Sunshade Curtains, Voice command for Sunroof Open & Close.
Apart from this, there are multiple higher-end features like the Multidrive and traction mode, which gives an option to customers to unleash their enthusiastic side. The lower variants of the Seltos now gets Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Electric sunroof, Smart key with push-button start, Remote engine start, Chrome door handles and Crystal cut alloys.
