What is covered under CARS24 warranty?

  • 30-day free comprehensive warranty.
  • While every car we sell undergoes a regular service, the comprehensive warranty covers almost all parts of a car for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase or 1,500 kms, whichever comes first.
  • 12-month extended warranty.
  • Our extended warranty is valid for 12 months or 15,000 km (whichever comes first) from the day your comprehensive warranty ends.

Is the warranty chargeable?arrow

Each car we sell comes with a free comprehensive warranty, valid for 30 days or 1,500 kms, whichever comes first. You can choose to buy a 12-month extended warranty plan for complete peace of mind.

What’s not covered under warranty?arrow

The 12-month warranty plan covers the most crucial car parts—the engine, and the parts that connect power to the wheels. Anything else that is not covered can be found in the warranty booklet. Please note, no consumables, wear and tear or accidental damages are covered under CARS24 Warranty.

What parts are used to repair the car under warranty?arrow

Parts used for repair/replacement work are either original equipment supplier (OES) or original equipment manufacturer (OEM) depending upon the part’s availability and procurement time. Discretion to use OES or OEM lies with the warranty provider. Needless to say, OES parts used are at par with their OEM counterparts and deliver the same level of performance.

How can I claim the warranty?arrow

  • In order to claim your warranty, you can raise a claim request on the CARS24 app under 'My Cars' section. For any assistance regarding warranty, you can also request a callback via the app or write to support@cariotauto.com with the car registration number and details of the issue.
  • Our technical support team will contact you between 9 am and 9 pm to understand the issue better and assist you further. In case the car is to be repaired, we will keep you updated on the status until the car is delivered back to you.

Can I get the warranty extended?arrow

Yes, buyers can opt for a paid 12-month extended warranty at the time of purchase
