Honda Cars India has just launched a limited version of the Honda City sedan in India, and it is yet another cosmetic edition with a few badges on the outside and interior enhancements. Here are all the Honda City Apex Edition details.
On the outside, there’s not much to talk about except for the Apex badges that have been placed at the boot lid and high up the front fenders. Rest of the car looks identical to the regular City, which was a pretty car to start with.
There’s a much clearer difference on the inside of the sedan, with beige seat covers and cushions embossed with Apex badges, leatherette finish on the dashboard and door padding, and ambient lighting with seven colour choices.
The powertrain specs remain unchanged, with a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine putting out 121PS of power and 145Nm of peak torque. It comes paired to a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The Honda City hybrid does not get the Apex Edition kit as of date.
The Apex Edition is based on the V and VX trims of the City, and demand a premium of Rs 25,000 over the respective Honda City variants in India. You can check the exact prices in the table above.
There’s also an Apex Edition of the Honda Elevate SUV on sale that was introduced later last year. You can read more about it in the next story.
