Volkswagen India has launched the Virtus GT Plus Sport and the GT Line in India, starting at Rs 14.07 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 17.85 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The Virtus GT Line showcases bold black accents on the front grille, ORVMs, and window bar. It features GT Line badges on the doors and boot lid, along with a glossy black spoiler and 'VIRTUS' lettering. Additionally, it comes with 16-inch Razor black alloy wheels for a sporty look.
Inside, the GT Line boasts a 10.09-inch WV infotainment system, an 8-inch digital cockpit, smart touch Climatronic AC, red ambient lights, auto headlamps, black leatherette upholstery, KESSY, and an electric sunroof, among other features.
The Virtus GT Line is powered by a 1.0L TSI engine that delivers 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. The model with a 6-speed automatic transmission is priced at Rs 14.08 lakh, while the manual transmission version costs Rs 15.18 lakh.
The Virtus GT Plus Sport shares the GT Line's black accents but adds a red front GT logo, red GT badges on the fender and boot lid, a red spoiler, and red front brake calipers. It also features a dual-tone roof and an Aero kit with upgraded front and rear bumpers, side running boards, and a rear diffuser.
Inside the GT Plus Sport, you'll find a 10.09-inch VW Play touchscreen infotainment system, an amplifier and subwoofer, an 8-inch digital cockpit, ventilated front seats, auto headlights, electric front seats (for both driver and co-driver), rain-sensing wipers, and more.
The Virtus GT Plus Sport features a 1.5L TSI EVO engine that delivers 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The variant with a 6-speed manual gearbox is priced at Rs 17.85 lakh, while the 7-speed DSG transmission variant costs Rs 19.40 lakh.
Both the GT Line and GT Plus Sport are equipped with 6 airbags, ABS, TCS, ESC, EBD, BA, multi-collision brakes, TPMS, and hill hold control, among other features.
