Nissan India is all set to expand its lineup, which is honestly quite small, with a new product, which will find its roots in the Renault Triber MPV.
Nissan India has officially confirmed its plans to launch the Triber-based MPV in India in the financial year 2025. We expect its launch to take place around the festive season.
The teaser image reveals a revised front end, with connected LED lightbar and tweaked headlights compared to the current Renault Triber.
Other key details at the front include a large radiator grille with Nissan logo in the centre and chrome garnishing on the front bumper. We can see some other small changes in the form of a new design for the alloy wheels and revised LED tail lights.
Mechanically, the Nissan compact MPV will remain identical to the Renault Triber. That means it will come powered by a sole 1.0-litre Energy-series three-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque with 5-speed MT/AMT.
The Renault Triber facelift is also due for a mid-lifecycle update and the facelifted model has been spotted on test on multiple occasions ahead of its launch sometime this year.
