Skoda Auto is all set to launch a generational update for its flagship SUV in India, the Skoda Kodiaq. This will be the first of a lineup of new Skoda cars in India planned to be launched this year.
The claimed Skoda Kodiaq mileage, as per ARAI testing cycles, stands at 14.86kmpl, which is 1.54kmpl more than the previous generation that had a claimed mileage figure of 13.32kmpl. Real life mileage figures are subject to vary depending on various factors.
The second generation Skoda Kodiaq retains its 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 204PS of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. Power figures are up from the previous generation by 14PS, while the torque output remains unchanged.
The new Skoda Kodiaq launch in India will take place on April 17, 2025, with the expected new Skoda Kodiaq price to start northwards of Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). Skoda is assembling the Kodiaq locally in India.
The new Kodiaq will be offered in two variants — Sportline and L&K. 2025 Skoda Kodiaq colour options include Bronx Gold Metallic, Steel Grey, Velvet Red Metallic, Race Blue Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, Magic Black Metallic, and Moon White Metallic.
Key changes over the first gen model include an overall curvier styling on the lines of Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ language, two options for the interior upholstery, and features such as a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, massage seats, and more.
