After the demise of the Kicks SUV, Nissan is set to make a comeback to the C-SUV space with its latest offering, which will share its underpinnings with the upcoming Renault Duster.
Nissan has confirmed its plans to launch the upcoming C-SUV in the financial year 2026. The carmaker claims to remain on its track to launch four products by the financial year 2026.
The teaser image shared by Nissan reveals a bold and athletic stance of the SUV. The front profile gets the C-shaped LED DRLs along with a bold grille adjoining the headlight clusters—just like the Patrol.
Nissan also claims that its upcoming C-SUV will also have impressive approach and departure angles, making it perfect for Indian driving conditions. It’s said that the Nissan SUV will be positioned above the Renault Duster in the Indian market.
Both the upcoming Nissan and Renault SUVs will share a common modular platform, which will also spawn a D-segment 7-seater SUV for respective brands, which will be launched at a later date.
