SIAM is going to organise the Delhi Motor Show under the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo from January 17-22, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Central Delhi. It is set to showcase a lineup of new cars in India.
JSW MG Motor India has some new car launches planned for the Indian market for the upcoming months. Here are the ones that we expect to be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo.
MG has announced to showcase the Cyberster sometime in Jan’26, and we expect them to do the same at the Delhi Motor Show. To be launched in India in the more powerful dual-motor trim, the Cyberster will be among the few roadsters in the country, and perhaps the only one this side of a crore rupees, apart from the much loved Mahindra Thar.
We expect MG to launch the new generation MG Astor/MG ZS EV in a hybrid avatar, which has already debuted in the UK as the MG ZS HEV. The UK-spec model gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is paired to a 1.83kWh battery and a 136PS electric motor. MG is yet to confirm the same though.
Including the Cyberster roadster, MG India has plans to launch four luxury cars via its new network of premium dealerships — MG Select — by the end of 2026. Cars that have high chances of being launched include the MG Mifa 9 van, the MG4 EV electric hatchback, and the MG ZS HEV.
Some other notable cars that we expect to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025 include the new Skoda Superb, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Hyundai Creta EV, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Harrier EV, Toyota Fortuner facelift, and the Honda Elevate EV concept.
