The new Dzire will make its debut on November 11 and will take on the rivals like the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura and the upcoming Honda Amaze. To be offered with the new Z12E petrol engine, the new Dzire promises to be considerably more efficient than the outgoing version.
The new Dzire boasts an ARAI-rated mileage of 24.79kmpl in manual guise and 25.71kmpl in the automatic iteration. For a quick comparison, old Dzire had a claimed mileage of 22.41kmpl (MT) and 22.61kmpl (AMT).
The new Maruti Dzire will be the second Maruti car to be offered with the new 1.2-litre Z12E engine capable of delivering 82hp and 112Nm of maximum torque. This engine will be offered with two gearbox options — 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
The new Dzire will be launching in India on November 11, 2024. The CNG versions of the car might launch at a later stage if not launched on the same day.
The new Dzire has secured an impressive 5-star rating in the latest GNCAP crash tests and has become the first Maruti Suzuki car to score a 5-star rating. This new iteration is offered with multiple standard safety features including 6 airbags.
