Both the Mahindra EVs, XEV 9e and BE 6e, will be built on the brand's INGLO platform. As for the Mahindra EV launch, it has been revealed that the Indian premiere for these electric cars is scheduled for November 26th.
The 2025 Mahindra XEV 9e design features connected DRLs with a stiff half-circle shape at the front. It has a minimalist front and a sleek profile, both front and side. At the rear, an upside-down U-shaped taillight spans from left to right.
The upcoming Mahindra EV, with its BE 6e design, will feature connected DRL lighting stretching from left to right in an upside-down U shape, a style also seen at the rear. The sleek profile adds to the overall design, which closely resembles what was showcased in its concept form.
In spy shots, it has been seen that the Mahindra XEV 9e interior will feature a triple-connected screen layout, with one screen for the driver display, one for infotainment, and one for the passenger.
The Mahindra BE 6e interior will feature a twin-connected floating display, one for the driver and the other for infotainment, as shown in previous teasers.
The Mahindra XEV 9e features are expected to include climate control, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, TPMS, a premium sound system, 6 airbags, ABS, and auto hold. It is also expected to come with ADAS features, among others. A similar load is expected to be included in the Mahindra BE 6e features.
Both upcoming Mahindra EVs are expected to offer two battery options. The Mahindra XEV 9e battery range is anticipated to be between 60 kWh and 80 kWh. It is expected to feature both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) setups, with a claimed range of up to 500 km.
