Mahindra BE 6e is an upcoming electric SUV from Mahindra, which also happens to be the automaker’s first-ever born-electric BEV, considering that the XUV400 was based on the ICE-powered XUV300 SUV.

This might sound a bit more familiar as the Mahindra BE 6e was earlier named the BE 05. The BE 05 had been spied quite a few times being tested on Indian roads, with a few revelations here and there.

Mahindra BE 6e teased

Mahindra has put out an official teaser of the upcoming BE 6e electric SUV on its YouTube channel. The BE 6e features a futuristic styling with long light bars on the front and the rear, a triple screen layout on the dashboard, a rectangular steering wheel with an illuminated BE logo, and a glass roof.

Mahindra’s EV platform

Mahindra has developed a modular skateboard platform to underpin its range of upcoming electric vehicles in India. The INGLO platform has been designed with the help of Volkswagen, and has been claimed to have been built to global standards.

New Mahindra BE 6e reveal date

Mahindra has officially announced the unveiling date for the BE 6e electric SUV, i.e., November 26, 2024. The global unveiling of the BE 6e along with the XEV 9e shall take place at Chennai in Tamil Nadu.

Upcoming Mahindra BE 6e India launch timeline

The launch timeline of the Mahindra BE 6e lies somewhere in early 2025, and will soon be followed by the launch of the electric XEV 6e. Mahindra might also export these EVs to certain international markets.
