Kia is all set to uncover its all new SUV in India — Kia Syros — planned to be slotted between the Kia Sonet and the Kia Seltos. Kia has been releasing teaser videos of the Syros on its official YouTube channel, and the latest one gives us a glimpse of its interior.
The teaser video suggests that the new Kia Syros SUV will get features like a wireless smartphone charger, multiple C-type ports and a 12-Volt socket at the front, a stylish gear lever, parking assist, multiple terrain modes, a panoramic sunroof, an ADAS suite, push button start-stop, and a two-spoke steering wheel with controls.
We had spied a test mule of the Kia Syros around four months back, and we can affirmatively say that the Syros will get the option for a diesel engine, and a dual-screen setup for instrumentation and infotainment.
Kia has said that the Syros has been designed with inspiration from other Kia cars in India such as the Carnival and the EV9. It gets distinctive b and c-pillars that showcase a stark resemblance to the Skoda Yeti. Sketches released by Kia in the past suggest that the Syros will feature L-shaped rear lights and stacked headlamps with LED DRLs.
Kia will globally reveal the Syros SUV in India on December 19, 2024. It is likely to announce the Kia Syros starting price on the same day, with prices of subsequent variants to be announced at the Bharat Mobility Show in January 2025. Stay tuned to CARS24 Autoverse for updates!
