The first quarter of 2025 brought a flurry of big launches like the Hyundai Creta EV and Kia Syros. But April is no less exciting—with the month set to welcome sporty EVs, bold facelifts, and premium global SUVs. Here's a quick look at the hottest launches lined up.
Volkswagen’s most premium SUV yet, the Tiguan R Line, lands this April with sportier styling, 19-inch alloys, full-width LED light bars, and all-wheel drive. Powered by a 204hp 2.0L turbo-petrol engine, it claims 0–100kph in 7.1 seconds. Expect a loaded cabin with a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, tri-zone ambient lighting, and digital dials.
MG’s first-ever electric roadster, the Cyberster, brings scissor doors and an all-digital cockpit to Indian streets. Set to debut through MG Select outlets, it features a 77kWh dual-motor setup delivering 510hp and a 3.2s 0–100kph time. Depending on interest, a more affordable RWD variant might follow later.
Kia is readying a facelifted Carens with SUV-inspired styling, vertical tail-lamps, and Syros-like headlamps. It’ll be sold alongside the current model under a new name. Expect updated interiors, more premium materials, and possible Level 2 ADAS, while engine options remain unchanged.
The next-gen Kodiaq arrives with smoother lines, connected LED tail-lamps, and a revamped front end. Inside, it gets a 13-inch touchscreen and a fully digital driver display. Power comes from the familiar 2.0L turbo-petrol engine with AWD, paired to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Tata’s coupe-SUV, the Curvv, goes stealth mode with the upcoming Dark Edition. Limited to the top-spec Accomplished trim, it features an all-black exterior and cabin theme. Engine choices remain the same – a 1.2L turbo-petrol and 1.5L diesel – with manual and DCT options.
Citroen’s coupe-SUV joins the blacked-out club with the Basalt Dark Edition, expected to get a new black paint, dark chrome alloys, and blackout treatment across the body. It’ll be based on the Max variant, with a 110hp 1.2L turbo-petrol engine and 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox options.
