BYD (Build Your Dreams) has some new car launches planned for the Indian market for the upcoming months. Here are the ones that we expect to be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo.
The carmaker has filed a design patent for its new plug-in hybrid SUV, the BYD Denza N9, and is likely to showcase it at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. The Denza N9 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that is mated to three electric motors — one at the front and two at the rear.
Another SUV that BYD has filed a design patent for and is expected to showcase at the Auto Expo is the upcoming BYD Bao 3 electric SUV. The Bao 3 is an all-electric vehicle that is powered by two motors and boasts a claimed 0-100kmph time of an impressive 4.9 seconds.
BYD is expanding its presence in India and has launched several new and updated models in the country in 2024 including the BYD eMax 7 MPV, the new BYD Seal, and a few updates for the BYD Atto 3.
There’s a long list of cars that will be showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo. Some of the notable ones include the MG Cyberster, Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ technology, Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Harrier EV, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Kia Syros, new BMW X3, new Skoda Superb, and more.
