The Bharat Mobility Global Expo is an umbrella event that incorporates multiple exhibitions revolving around the Indian mobility and transportation industry. The Delhi Auto Expo Motor Show is now a part of the Bharat Mobility Expo and the next edition of the same is scheduled to take place in the upcoming weeks. Here’s a quick guide to the same.
The Delhi Auto Expo Motor Show, which was first held back in 1986, is now being organised under the Bharat Mobility Global Expo jointly by SIAM, ACMA, and CII. Being one of the major auto shows across the world, the Delhi Auto Expo shall see participation from major India as well as global car manufacturers.
The upcoming Auto Expo shall take place from 17 January 2025 to 22 January 2025, with the first day being exclusively reserved for media, the second day for media, special guests, and dealers, and rest of the days being open to the public.
The Motor Show will be held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, located in Central Delhi. Other events such as The Components Show and Bharat Construction Equipment Show are set to take place at venues like Yashobhoomi, Dwarka and India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.
While there is no clarity yet from the organisers regarding the ticket arrangement for the Auto Expo, we expect it to be free for the public, similar to how it was at the first edition held in 2024.
Most of the major automakers who sell their cars and SUVs in India are to be a part of the Auto Expo 2025. Notable upcoming cars in India that are expected to be showcased include the Hyundai Creta EV, Kia Syros, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Tata Harrier EV, Tata Sierra EV, Mahindra XEV 9e, Mahindra BE 6, MG Cyberster, Renault Duster, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, among others.
