The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado was revealed in 2024 globally and it sits under the bigger LC300 Land Cruiser.
A video on YouTube recently revealed a Land Cruiser Prado in transit. The model was equipped with all the bells and whistles and a diesel engine.
The Land Cruiser Prado is said to be launched in India in the second half of 2025. The offroader is already on sale in multiple countries under multiple names—Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado and Land Cruiser 250.
The model that was spotted in India seems to be the Australian-spec model and specced with the top Kakadu trim, given the presence of a vertically-stacked radiator grille and a sunroof.
The key highlights of the new Land Cruiser Prado include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, drive modes, surround view camera, heated and ventilated first- and second-row seats and more.
The Land Cruiser Prado gets the same 2.8-litre diesel engine that also powers the Toyota Fortuner. The 2.8-litre diesel engine is offered in multiple global markets including Japan and Australia.
