Showcased first at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025, the Toyota Hilux Black Edition has been launched in India at Rs 37.90 lakh ex-showroom.
In addition to the black exterior colour, it offers black garnishing on the front grille, side body fenders, ORVMs, fuel lid, door handles and 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the interior gets an all-black dashboard there—like the standard top-end Hilux—and black leatherette upholstery. Since the Hilux Black Edition is based on the top-spec AT variant of the Hilux, it offers the same set of features.
Speaking of features, the Hilux Black Edition packs 7 airbags, dual-zone climate control, powered driver’s seat and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Surprisingly, the Hilux Black Edition comes at the same price as the model it’s based on—at Rs 37.90 lakh ex-showroom, it does not carry any price premium whatsoever.
Its 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine churns out 204PS of power and 500Nm of torque, all of which is channelled to the rear wheels via a 6-speed AT.
