Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold a total of 29,529 cars and SUVs in the month of December 2024, including 24,887 sold in the Indian market and 4,642 units exported to other countries.
Toyota witnessed a net 12.2% rise in sales when compared to the numbers from November 2024. While domestic sales fell by a small percentage, the exports grew significantly, resulting in an overall positive growth.
When compared to the same month last year, Toyota performed pretty well, with a net increase of 29.1%. Both domestic and international sales contributed to this year-on-year growth trend.
Toyota India recorded sales of 3,26,329 units from January 2024 to December 2024, which represented a significant 39.8% positive growth as compared to 2,33,346 units sold in calendar year 2023. Out of these 3,26,329 units, 3,00,159 units were sold in India while the remaining 26,232 units were exported.

Toyota is expected to showcase a couple of new cars at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo that is scheduled to be held from January 17-22, 2025 at New Delhi. The cars that are likely to be displayed include the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV and a facelift of the Toyota Fortuner.
