Toyota has revealed the C-HR+ EV that is set to go on sale in the European market. The coupe electric SUV from Toyota sits below the BZ4x EV that currently is Toyota’s flagship EV model in Europe.
While it carries the C-HR name, it brings a refreshed design with the coupe SUV bodystyle. Its key design elements include sleek LED headlights, flush fit door handles and connected light bar at the rear.
The interior design of the C-HR+ is shared with other Toyota models and houses the large touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Complete features are yet to be revealed.
The Toyota C-HR+ shares sits on the brand's e-TNGA platform, which also underpins cars like the BZ4x and the Lexus RZ electric.
The Toyota C-HR+ comes with two battery pack choices — 58kWh with 455km of range and 77kWh with 600km of range. It comes with both FWD and AWD drivetrains with a maximum power output of 342PS.
The new Toyota C-HR+ will go on sale in the European market towards the second half of the year 2025. Toyota India has no plans to introduce the C-HR+ but the Urban Cruiser EV based on the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is incoming.
