The Majestor is one of the many new MG cars in India that were showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Here are the top things to know about this upcoming SUV in India.
MG has refrained from calling the Majestor as the MG Gloster facelift and is aiming to position it above the Gloster SUV.
The Majestor features a chunky black front grille, slim DRLs, and vertical headlamps. The rear end gets MORRIS GARAGES badging that sits above the connected lightbar.
We haven’t got any confirmation about the powertrain options that will be available on this upcoming SUV in India, though we expect the MG Gloster engine options to be carried over — a 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine.
While the carmaker hasn’t revealed a concrete date, it told us on the sidelines of the Auto Expo that the upcoming MG Majestor will be launched in India sometime around March-April 2025.
Being positioned above the MG Gloster, the expected MG Majestor price in India will start northwards of Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
JSW MG Motor India has a list of new cars that are going to be launched in India, such as the MG Cyberster electric roadster, MG M9 electric van, and probably the MG ZS hybrid (MG Astor hybrid). The first two will be sold via the new MG Select showrooms.
