Positioned between the Sonet and the Seltos, the new Kia Syros is Kia’s second SUV in the sub-4m SUV segment and boasts an exclusive package along with many features that are absent even in the larger Seltos.
The Kia Syros is the only Kia car to be offered with a dual 12.3-inch display setup unlike the Seltos which gets 10.2-inch displays. For those wondering, the dual-screen setup forms the Trinity Panoramic Connected Car Navigation Cockpit with a navigation cockpit on the left and instrument cluster on the right.
In addition to offering improved rear seat space, the Syros also boasts seat ventilation at the front as well as at the rear. This segment-first feature is not only missing in the Seltos but also many other more expensive SUVs on sale.
The new Syros also gets a sliding rear seat bench that helps the occupants get better legroom. In addition to this, the Syros also gets recline adjustment for the added comfort.
The Syros is also the first Kia ICE car in India to get flush-type door handles instead of the conventional pull-door handles. Similar handles were first offered in Kia cars like the EV6 and the EV9 and are claimed to deliver better aerodynamic efficiency.
