SIAM is going to organise the Delhi Motor Show under the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo from January 17-22, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Central Delhi. It is set to showcase a lineup of new cars in India.
There’s a lineup of new electric car launches planned for the Indian market across segments from both mass market manufacturers like Tata and Maruti Suzuki as well as premium carmakers like Mercedes-Benz. Here are the top 5 electric cars that are to be showcased at the Delhi Motor Show 2025.
Revealed recently at Milan, Maruti Suzuki is set to introduce its first electric car to India, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. Based on a modified version of the Heartect platform, the e Vitara gets three powertrain options that include both FWD and AWD configurations.
An electric version of the Creta SUV is on the cards, and has been confirmed to make its debut at the Delhi Auto Expo. It has been spied testing multiple times, and is expected to come with a 45kWh battery pack, as per multiple media reports.
MG is ready to launch its electric roadster in India, the MG Cyberster, in the more powerful dual-tone configuration. It will be sold via MG’s new network of Select premium dealerships that are planned to initially be established in 12 cities across the country.
Mahindra is likely to reveal the full price list of its new EVs — Mahindra BE 6 and Mahindra XEV 9e — at the upcoming Auto Expo. The BE 6 and XEV 9e mark Mahindra’s entry into the global BEV space with its first cars built on a modular skateboard platform.
The Mercedes-Benz EQG, or the G 580 with EQ technology, or simply the electric G-Wagon, is also going to be showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo in its production form, soon after being revealed on January 9, 2025.
