Skoda is all set to launch the new 2025 Kodiaq in India and here are the top 5 things you need to know about it.
Based on the updated MQB EVO platform, the new Kodiaq is now larger than the outgoing car in terms of dimensions.
In addition to the new platform, the 2025 Kodiaq features Skoda’s “Modern Solid” design language with sleeker body panels and a bold fascia.
On the features front, the new Skoda Kodiaq is offered with a long list of bells and whistles such as 13-inch infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, Smart Dial setup, automatic climate control, sunroof, push-button start, automatic headlights and wipers, wireless charging pad, and more.
Powering the new Kodiaq will be the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that churns out 190hp and 320Nm of maximum torque. This engine will be paired to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox with 4X4 setup.
While the brand will first showcase the new Kodiaq at the upcoming Bharat Expo, the SUV will go on sale by June 2025. While the current Kodiaq is priced at Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Kodiaq is likely to be significantly more expensive. Once launched, it will take on the rivals like the Volkswagen Taigun, Jeep Meridian, Hyundai Tucson, MG Gloster, and Toyota Fortuner.
