There have been multiple queries recently about a Mahindra Scorpio-N facelift. Though we do not expect a facelift anytime soon, there might be a model year update with a few feature additions and minor styling tweaks.
The most significant addition would be that of an ADAS suite, as confirmed by one of our sources. The Scorpio-N would likely get functionalities such as lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
The standard safety feature pack is also likely to be bumped up, with 6 airbags being offered right from the base variant of the SUV.
The current model gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, which might be done with on the updated SUV. The bigger touchscreen is also expected to support wireless smartphone connectivity, just like the current unit does.
There are no major enhancements expected on the styling front, neither on the inside, nor on the outside. There might be some minor changes though, such as bumper alterations and chrome tweaks.
The updated SUV is expected to retain the same set of powertrain options as the current model. These include a 2.2-litre diesel motor and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor, both paired to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque convertor.
