Nissan launched a facelifted version of the Magnite SUV a few months back, and here are the top 5 things that we like about it.
One of the complaints that we had from the pre-facelift Magnite was the lack of soft touch materials on the dashboard, which Nissan has resolved with the updated car. The new Magnite gets a dual-tone dashboard with soft-touch materials that looks and feels nice and premium.
The Magnite that comes with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to a CVT is quite fun to drive, and is smooth at the same time. The suspension setup complements the powertrain and enables a pleasant driving experience inside the city.
The updated Magnite comes equipped with a lot of standard safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, hydraulic brake assist, TPMS, ISOFIX child seat mounts, vehicle dynamic control, and more. The Magnite has also secured a 4-star safety rating at the Global NCAP crash test.
Despite the recent price increase that Nissan did for the Magnite, the car seems to provide enough value for the money that it demands. It gets a respectable amount of creature comforts along with a sorted suspension system and a choice of powertrain options.
The Nissan Magnite AMT variants are one of the cheapest options if you’re on the lookout for automatic cars in India for your family. Though the AMT isn’t half as smooth as the CVT, it provides the convenience of clutch-free driving in city traffic conditions.
