Tata Nexon iCNG variants – Everything you need to know!

Tata has launched the Nexon iCNG in India with prices starting from Rs 8.99 lakh, and going up to Rs 14.59 lakh. The Nexon iCNG comes in eight different versions to suit different needs: Smart(O), Smart Plus, Smart Plus S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative Plus, and Fearless Plus S.

Smart(O) variant

The Tata Nexon iCNG smart(O) variant, priced at Rs 8.99 lakh, comes with LED headlamps, DRLs, and taillights. It features a 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, front power windows, tilt-collapsible steering, a vanity mirror on the co-driver side, and key safety features like 6 airbags, ESP, hill-hold control, reverse sensors, and ISOFIX.

Smart Plus variant

The Nexon Smart Plus variant, second in the lineup, adds more features to the base Smart (O) variant. It comes with a 7-inch Harman touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, all power windows, steering-mounted controls, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a shark fin antenna, four speakers, and a parcel tray.

Smart Plus S variant

The Smart Plus S variant stands out with its voice-assisted electric sunroof and features like automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a knitted roof liner, and roof rails. Priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, it costs Rs 30,000 more than the Smart Plus trim.

Pure variant

The Pure Nexon variant is priced at Rs 70,000 more than the Smart Plus S. It includes all the Smart Plus S features, plus stylish additions like Bi-Function LED Headlamps, LED X Factor Taillamps, and upgraded wheel colours. Inside, you’ll enjoy a 4-inch digital instrument cluster, voice commands for phone and media, touch-based HVAC controls, and rear AC vents for added comfort and convenience.

Pure S variant

The Tata Nexon iCNG Pure S variant is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh and features a Voice Assisted Electric Sunroof, which isn't available in the Pure trim. This makes it the second model, after the Smart Plus S, to offer this sunroof. Additionally, the Pure S includes all the features of the Pure variant, providing great value with added perks.

Creative variant

The Creative variant of the Nexon iCNG lacks a sunroof but retains all Pure features. It also includes sequential LED DRLs, a rear wiper & washer, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the additional features include a 7-inch digital cluster, climate control, six-speaker, push-button start, a rearview camera, TPMS, an adjustable driver seat, and a cooled glovebox.

Creative Plus variant

The Tata Nexon Creative Plus variant costs Rs 12.19 lakh, Rs 50,000 more than the Creative variant. This trim offers extra tech and safety features, including a 10.24-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers, a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, and front parking sensors.

Fearless Plus PS variant

The top variant of the Tata Nexon iCNG is the Fearless Plus PS, which enhances the features of the Smart Plus variant. This trim stands out as the only one offering a Panoramic Sunroof. It also boasts a 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation, 8 speakers, a wireless charger, an air purifier with dust sensors, ventilated front seats, and a height-adjustable co-driver seat.

Under the hood

The Tata Nexon iCNG is powered by a 1.2L Turbocharged Revotron Engine featuring a twin-cylinder design. This setup delivers a punchy 100ps of power and 170nm of torque, making it quite lively on the road. Plus, it comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
