Along with launching the new Tata Nexon iCNG, Tata Motors has also announced a few updates for the Nexon.ev, including a bigger battery pack and a panoramic sunroof. Head over to the next slides to know more.
The Tata Nexon.ev now gets a larger 45kWh battery pack thereby extending its range. It is not clear as of now if the existing 30kWh and 40.5kWh packs will continue to be offered as they are.
As specified by Tata, the new 45kWh battery pack has a higher claimed range of 489km, which translates to 350km to 375km as per Tata’s in-house C75 testing cycle. This battery pack supports 60kW DC fast charging that’ll fuel up from 0-80% in 40 minutes. This pack takes the same amount of space as the 40.5kWh pack but has a 15% better energy density.
The Tata Nexon EV price with the 45kWh battery pack ranges from Rs 13.99 lakh for the Creative 45 variant to Rs 17.19 lakh for the Empowered + 45 Red #Dark variant.
The panoramic sunroof has made its way to the Tata Nexon too. Higher variants with the 45kWh battery pack get features like a panoramic sunroof, a frunk and V2V & V2L technology. The new Nexon iCNG also gets the panoramic sunroof.
There’s a new dark edition in town as well. The new Tata Nexon.ev Red #Dark variant gets an all-black exterior with red interior touches. The seat upholstery is finished in dark red theme and the red-themed inserts can be found on several trim pieces including in the theme for the infotainment system and instrument cluster.
