Tata Motors has announced that the 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, initially awarded to the Nexon EV in 2024, now applies to all variants of the Nexon EV 45, including models launched after the original crash test.
In Bharat NCAP tests conducted in June 2024, the Nexon EV achieved 29.86 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection. Furthermore, it achieved 14.26/16 in the frontal offset test and 15.60/16 in the side impact test.
The Nexon EV earned 44.95 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection. It scored 23.95/24 in the dynamic test, 12/12 in the CRS installation test and 9/13 in the vehicle assessment test.
All Nexon EV variants come equipped with advanced safety technologies, including six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and pre-tensioners with load limiters.
All the variants of the Nexon EV, across all battery packs that include 30kWh, 40kWh and 45kWh. Since even the base variants of the Nexon EV come with a long list of features, one could go with any of its variants and have a safe driving experience.
