The Tata Harrier.EV is said to be launched in the Indian market by the end of this financial year and we expect its launch to take place in March 2025.
The production version of the Harrier.EV was showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025, the design of which was similar to the concept model.
The Harrier.EV will introduce all-wheel-drive configuration, a feature that has been long awaited in the Harrier ICE. However, the latter is unlikely to receive AWD anytime soon.
At the showcase, Tata Motors drove the Harrier.EV on stage without a driver, thanks to its driverless self park functionality.
Thanks to the Harrier.EV’s dual-motor setup, it will offer a combined torque output of 500Nm, which should particularly help the SUV in tricky offroad situations.
The upcoming Harrier.EV will introduce the Acti.EV+ platform, which will make significant improvements to the EV platform that first debuted with the Punch.EV.
