Tata Motors sold 78,164 units in December 2024, with 76,599 units sold in India and 1,565 units exported to international markets.
Month-on-month sales grew by 4.6% resulting from a slight growth in domestic sales and an increase of a mere 58 units in exports.
Year-on-year sales rose by a slight margin, with a net growth of 1.4%. Domestic sales saw an increase of 461 units, but exports fell slightly by 8.9%.
Tata Motors saw a 1.7% increase in domestic passenger vehicle sales, and a 71.2% fall in exports, resulting in a net domestic growth of 1.4%. Net growth in sales of electric vehicles stood at 11.1%.
Commercial vehicle sales continued to fall this month too, with a net decrease of 0.9%. Certain segments like passenger carriers did see a significant rise, but other segments took the overall growth into the negative zone.
