Tata Curvv is set to be among India's first coupe SUVs, flaunting a fresh and unique design by adopting a sloping roofline and marking a significant milestone in the Indian automotive industry.
The all-new Tata Curvv comes with a 1.2C charging rate that can fire it up to cover 150 km in just 15 minutes. With access to a 70 kW DC fast charger, the Curvv EV can charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in a claimed 40 minutes.
Prismatic cells offer better packaging efficiency than cylindrical cells, thus maximising the battery capacity. The top-spec Curvv EV 55 kWh, which uses prismatic cells, is said to have a real-world range of 400 to 425 kilometres on a full charge.
The first one for the brand, the Acoustic Vehicle Alert System enhances pedestrian awareness by emitting an audio chime when the vehicle is travelling at speeds below 20 km/h.
Tata Motors has introduced a powered tailgate with gesture activation, motorised charging port and flush door handles as new features in their vehicle for the first time, enhancing aesthetics and convenience.
The Tata Curvv.ev can reach a top speed of 160 kph and comes with a 165PS liquid-cooled PMS motor. It is the fastest Tata EV yet, as it can reach 0-100 kph speed in just 8.6 seconds. There are two options with battery packs of 55 kWh and 45 kWh.
The Tata Curvv.ev is launched with over 20 safety functionalities like Level 2 ADAS, an acoustic vehicle alert system (AVAS) for pedestrian safety, six airbags, ESP, all-wheel disc brakes, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold function.
The Tata Curvv.ev has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base 45kWh Creative variant, and its 55kWh Empowered + A variant is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
