Tata Curvv.ev is India’s first coupe SUV, flaunting a fresh and unique design, and marking a significant milestone in the Indian automotive industry. The Tata Curvv will act as an inspiration for other manufacturers to make the Coupe SUV a growing segment in the Indian market.
The all-new Tata Curvv comes with a 1.2C charging rate that can fire it up to cover 150 km in just 15 minutes.
Built on Tata’s new Gen 2 EV architecture, Acti.ev platform, the Curvv can cover a range of 402 km with the 45kWh battery and 585 km with the 55kWh battery variant on a single charge as per Tata.
The Tata Curvv.ev can reach a top speed of 160 kph and comes with a 123kW liquid-cooled PMS motor and is the fastest Tata EV till date. It can reach 0-100 kph in just 8.6 seconds. There are two options for battery packs — 55 kWh and 45 kWh.
The 5-star BNCAP-capable Tata Curvv is being launched with over 20 safety functionalities like Level 2 ADAS, an acoustic vehicle alert system (AVAS) for pedestrian safety, six airbags, ESP, all-wheel disc brakes, and electronic parking brake with auto hold function.
Tata Curvv.ev comes with 18-inch wheels and has a water-wading depth of 450 mm with a ground clearance of 190 mm. The vehicle offers 500 litres of boot space and will also include features like multi-mode regeneration and a 360-degree camera setup.
The Tata Curvv offers an all-new 1.2-litre Gdi petrol Revotron unit and a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel unit. The former produces 120hp and 170Nm of torque, while the Kryojet engine generates 115hp and 260Nm of torque.
The Tata Curvv.ev has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 17.49 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the base 45kWh Creative variant, and its 55kWh Empowered +A variant is priced at Rs 21.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).
