During the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Tata Motors revealed the Tata Avinya X concept. This is the second time the concept has been shown to the public, and it appears more defined and refined.
The Tata Avinya X platform is a modified version of Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) "Electric Modular Architecture (EMA)" platform. This platform also supports the Jaguar Type 00 concept.
The Tata Avinya X exterior features T-shaped LED lighting at the front and rear, horizontally placed headlamp housings, a closed-off grille, and skid plates at both ends. It also includes flush door handles, 22-inch alloy wheels, and a touch sensor on the C-pillar for rear door access.
The Tata Avinya X interior looks clean and simple at the moment, but it is expected to include features like a large infotainment screen, digital driver display, ventilated seats, auto climate control, glass sunroof, and more. Tata is also likely to add a futuristic aesthetic to the design.
The Tata Avinya battery specs have not yet been revealed, but Tata Motors claims it will offer a minimum range of 500 km in under 30 minutes of charging. The battery will support ultra-fast charging capability.
The Tata Avinya India launch is expected to happen by 2026. This model will position itself as a premium EV.
