The Renault Kiger is currently the most expensive Renault model in India, placed above the Kwid and Triber. It was recently updated with a model year update that brought more features to the lower variants.
Talking about the Renault Kiger CNG engine, we assume the CNG option to come with the naturally-aspirated engine, that too mated to only the 5-speed manual.
The Kiger normal petrol engine has a displacement of 999cc and it puts out 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. The engine can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
While the specifications are not out, we expect to see some drop in power and torque outputs on the CNG mode compared to that of the standard petrol engine.
Like other carmakers, Renault could charge between Rs 90,000 - Rs 1 lakh for the CNG powertrain over the respective variants of the Kiger normal petrol.
