Nissan India has given the Magnite sub-compact SUV a mid-generation update. Initially launched four years ago, the Nissan Magnite gets a facelift featuring design and feature updates. Read ahead to know what’s new and what’s not.
The 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift retains the same set of powertrain options as the outgoing model. These include a 1.0-litre NA petrol engine paired to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to a 5-speed manual and a CVT.
The Nissan Magnite facelift gets a redesigned front grille that is larger than before and seamlessly joins with the front headlamps. There are redesigned bumpers on the front and the rear. The taillights get a new M-shaped signature embedded into them. The alloy wheels also feature a new design.
There have been a handful of feature additions inside the cabin of the Nissan Magnite. These include a new key that enables the car to be locked/unlocked automatically, leatherette seats, soft-touch material on the dashboard, 6 airbags as standard, and more.
The Nissan Magnite facelift price in India starts at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant, and goes up till Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant.
Nissan has two cars on sale in India — Magnite and X-Trail. Nissan plans to introduce three more cars in the next two years, taking this count up to five.
