According to recent reports, the Nissan Magnite CNG is expected to launch in India soon, although the official confirmation from the carmaker is still awaited.
It is anticipated that the Nissan Magnite CNG will be offered with a government-approved retrofit kit, similar to how the Renault Kiger, Kwid, and Triber models have recently received this option.
The Nissan Magnite CNG will maintain the same appearance as the regular model, and its feature set will remain consistent, varying based on the specific variant.
As for the price, the Nissan Magnite CNG is expected to be similar to the regular model, with an added cost for the retrofit CNG kit. For example, the retrofit CNG kit in the Renault Kwid is priced at Rs 75,000, while in the Triber and Kiger, it's Rs 79,500. The cost in the Nissan Magnite is expected to be in a similar range, though it could vary.
The Nissan Magnite with the retrofit CNG kit is expected to be available only with the 1.0L N/A petrol engine, exclusively paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Nissan Magnite mileage for the N/A petrol variant is claimed to be up to 19.7 km/l, while the Turbo petrol offers up to 19.9 km/l for the manual and 17.9 km/l for the CVT. The Magnite CNG mileage is expected to be higher.
