Maruti Suzuki has launched a teaser for the next-generation Dzire, hinting at its upcoming release with the tagline, "The best is just the beginning." The teaser also mentions media drive dates from November 4th to 8th, confirming that the launch is set for the first week of November, most likely on November 4th.
Bookings for the new Dzire facelift are expected to begin about a week before the official launch, or possibly a bit earlier. Unofficial bookings may also open at select dealerships even sooner than the official announcement.
The new Dzire is likely to feature a sharper and sportier look, moving away from its previous soft, rounded design. It will come with a redesigned front and rear, including an updated bumper, grille, headlights, taillights, and a new set of alloy wheels.
The next-generation Dzire is expected to come with a host of impressive features, including a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver display, and cruise control. Additional highlights may include rear AC vents, climate control, Type A and C charging ports, cup holders in both the front and rear, an air filter, an electric sunroof, new upholstery seats, and more.
Focusing on safety features, the upcoming Dzire is expected to include six airbags, reverse parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, ABS, hill hold assist, ESP, an anti-theft security system, TPMS, a night and day adjustable IRVM, and ISOFIX child seat anchors, among others.
There’s been some buzz around spy shots claiming to show the interior of the next-generation Dzire, suggesting the presence of ADAS features. This has raised anticipation for these features. If the spy shots are to be believed, the Dzire will offer ADAS features, making it the first Maruti Suzuki model to offer ADAS in India.
The upcoming next-gen Dzire will feature a new 1.2-litre Z-series petrol engine, available with either a 5-speed MT or AMT. Additionally, it will come with a CNG engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
