Tata Curvv is the ICE version of the new Tata Curvv EV that was launched a month ago. The Curvv features a coupe SUV design with a sloping roof and an SUV-like stance.
Tata Curvv engine options include Tata’s new 1.2-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol engine with direct injection, 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol engine that’s also found on the Nexon, and Tata’s new 1.5-litre Kyrojet diesel engine. All three engines can be paired to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.
The fully-loaded variants of the Curvv get a panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, cooled glovebox, 9 speakers, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat, and more.
Safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, ISOFIX, hill hold control and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers are standard on all variants. It also gets Level-2 ADAS on the top-spec variant.
The Tata Curvv is available in eight variants — Smart, Pure +, Pure + S, Creative, Creative S, Creative + S, Accomplished S, Accomplished + A. Counting all the variants with the available engine and transmission combinations, there are a total of 34 configurations on offer.
There are six mono-tone and six dual-tone colour options for the Tata Curvv. The single-tone colour options include Gold Essence, Flame Red, Pristine White, Pure Grey, Daytona Grey and Opera Blue. Dual-tone options feature these colours with a black roof.
Tata Curvv price ranges from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17.69 lakh, as of now. Prices for some of the variants are yet to be announced, which would be more expensive than the costliest variant currently on offer. The prices revealed are valid till October 31 and deliveries will begin on September 12.
