The new Maruti Swift crash test results are out, revealing a disappointing overall 1-star rating. The test was conducted by the Australian NCAP and involved the international-spec new Maruti Swift sold in Australia and New Zealand. Therefore, this outcome will not apply to the Swift models sold in India.

2024 Maruti Swift safety features in India

The Indian-spec Maruti Suzuki features for safety include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX anchors, speed-sensitive door locks, pre-tensioner seatbelts, high-speed alert, seatbelt reminders, engine immobilizer, and low fuel/door ajar warnings. In higher variants, the new Maruti Swift safety features also get additional options like wide-angle rear parking camera, day/night IRVM, security alarm, and driver seat height adjuster.
