The Mahindra BE 6 is Mahindra’s entry-level BEV (currently) that sits on the new INGLO skateboard platform. It marks Mahindra’s entry into the global EV market with a slew of new electric SUVs coming from the carmaker in the upcoming months. The car was previously known by the moniker ‘Mahindra BE 6e’, which was temporarily changed due to an ongoing legal battle with Indigo Airlines.
The Mahindra BE 6 base model price in India had been announced as Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). Mahindra calls the base variant of the SUV as the Mahindra BE 6 Pack One.
The Mahindra BE 6 top model, which Mahindra calls the BE 6 Pack Three, has been priced at Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The top model packs in lots of extra features, a bigger battery pack, and better performance.
The fully-loaded Pack Three trim gets the option of 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, that come mated to a 285PS electric motor. The BE 6 is offered in a rear-wheel drive configuration.
The Mahindra BE 6 Pack Three features include a 16-speaker premium sound system, adaptive cruise control, leatherette upholstery on the seats and steering wheel, a Level-2 ADAS suite, illuminated glass roof, cornering headlamps, and more.
The bookings for the Pack Three trim shall commence from February 14, 2025, with test drives starting in about a week from today. The Mahindra BE 6 Pack Three deliveries will begin from March 2025.
