The Syros is the newest Kia car in India and it goes against popular sub-compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and its own sibling — the Kia Sonet. Here is a Kia Syros vs Sonet mileage comparison.
The Kia Sonet has higher claimed mileage figures for all powertrains except for the diesel automatic ones.
The Sonet is offered with three powertrain options — a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 5-speed MT, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT.
The Kia Syros gets the same turbo-petrol and diesel engines, but misses out on the naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The turbo-petrol is offered with a 6-speed MT rather than the iMT.
The Kia Sonet price in India lies between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 15.69 lakh. The Kia Syros price lies between Rs 8.99 lakh and Rs 17.79 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi.
