The Honda Amaze CNG has been launched in India, but there’s a small twist. This powertrain option is not available as a factory-fitted setup. Instead, it comes as a retrofit CNG kit that can be installed at Honda dealerships.
The process is simple, customers with a new petrol Honda Amaze can take it to the dealership for CNG fitting. The dealership, in partnership with an RTO-approved CNG fitment centre, will handle the installation.
The 2024 Honda CNG will come with full manufacturer warranties, ensuring no compromises in coverage. This means you’ll get the same warranty protection as with any other Honda model.
To avail the warranty, customers simply need to complete a few formalities at the dealership where they are getting their CNG retrofitted.
The Honda Amaze petrol engine, with a 1.2L capacity, produces 90PS and 110Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual or 7-step CVT gearbox. The Amaze CNG is expected to get slightly lower power and torque and will likely come paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
For the Honda Amaze CNG price, customers will need to pay an additional Rs 1 lakh for the conversion to CNG. However, it’s important to note that these prices may vary depending on the state’s taxation policy.
