The Dacia Spring EV has been spotted wearing camouflage and red number plates, confirming that it is being actively considered for the Indian market.

The wraparound rear profile is the biggest takeaway confirming that the new-gen Spring EV is being considered for the Indian market and could be called the Renault Kwid EV.

The Dacia Spring EV looks bold thanks to a new-age design that includes split LED headlights, enclosed gloss black grille, chunky front and rear bumpers and LED tail lights.

Dacia Spring EV Motor, Battery And Range

The Dacia Spring EV comes with a front-mounted electric motor that draws power from a 26.8kWh battery pack. It offers a WLTP-claimed driving range of 225km on a single charge and supports DC fast charging of up to 30kW.

Renault Kwid EV India Launch Soon?

Renault has already confirmed its plans to launch an A-segment electric vehicle and the presence of the Dacia Spring EV on the Indian soil reinforces that the upcoming small Renault EV will be based on the Dacia Spring EV.
