Succeeding the introduction of the new Swift, the launch of the new Maruti Dzire has been much anticipated. The new Dzire sits on the same Heartect platform as the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift but gets a lot of design differentiators.
As per our dealer sources, Maruti Suzuki India Limited will be launching the new Dzire on November 11, 2024. MSIL is yet to confirm the same though.
When compared to its hatchback counterpart, the upcoming Dzire features a more sharp and edgy styling with a large front grille, arrow-like rear lights, and strong character lines throughout the exterior.
The upcoming Maruti Dzire will get the option of a sunroof and a 360-degree camera setup, as seen in spy shots. Expected features include 6 airbags, 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and more.
The new Dzire will share the 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z-Series engine with the Swift, and will come with the option of a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT.
The outgoing generation of the Dzire is priced between Rs 6.56 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 9.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The upcoming Maruti Dzire is expected to charge a slight premium over the current model.
