The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in seven variants: MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L. Bookings for the Roxx have opened nationwide, with a token amount of Rs 21,000.
The Mahindra Thar features a 2.0L turbo petrol engine that delivers 162PS and 330Nm of torque with a 6-speed manual transmission. For those who prefer an automatic, it produces 177PS and 380Nm of torque with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The Mahindra 2.2L diesel engine produces 152PS and 330Nm of torque with the 6-speed manual transmission and 175PS and 370Nm with the 6-speed torque converter automatic. Both gearbox options are paired with RWD. Additionally, selected variants, including the MX5 MT, AX7L MT, AX5L AT, and AX7L AT, come with the exclusive 4WD guise.
The MX1 and MX3 variants come in Everest White, Tango Red, and Stealth Black. The AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L variants offer these three colours plus additional options: Deep Forest, Battleship Grey, Nebula Blue, and Burnt Sienna.
Inside, you have two interior options: Ivory White, which is standard across all variants, and Mocha Brown, available exclusively in the 4WD guise variants.
Deliveries for the Thar Roxx will start after Dussehra. However, for certain diesel variants with 4WD and the Mocha Brown interior option, deliveries will begin towards the end of January 2025.
