It’s the era of SUVs, and here are the top 10 that outshined the others in January 2025, in terms of sales.

Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta emerged as the best selling SUV in India for the month of January 2025, selling 18,522 units.

The Punch came next, clocking 16,231 units of sales across powertrains and variants.

Maruti Grand Vitara

Maruti Suzuki sold 15,784 units of the Grand Vitara, making it reach the third spot in our list.

Mahindra Scorpio

The Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N together stood as the fourth best selling SUV brand in India last month, selling a combined 15,442 units.

Tata Nexon

The Nexon wasn’t far behind, selling 15,397 units in January, including sales of petrol, diesel, CNG, as well as electric variants.

Maruti Fronx

Another Maruti car in India to make it to the top 10 highest selling SUVs in January 2025 was the Fronx, with 15,192 units of sales.

Maruti Brezza

Maruti sold 14,747 units of the Brezza during the same period, making it the seventh most selling SUV in India.

Joining the Creta in this list was the Hyundai Venue, with 11,106 units of sales recorded in January.

The Bolero and Bolero Neo garnered a combined sales figure of 8,682 units, occupying the ninth spot.
